Oprah tells Larry King Live about her take on how the Law of Attraction works. Years back, fired by an obesssion about the book “The Color Purple,” she had a burning desire to be in the movie and was eventually called to audition.
But then she heard nothing and took herself off to a “fat farm” thinking she was too fat. Oprah says she was was in tears on the track, singing, “I surrender all, I surrender all.”
Then she got the call from Stephen Spielberg.
Oprah you are amazing. I love you.
I just love how you inspired my own life from before I had my own wake-up call and transformation. In fact I believe your show contributed to me never losing faith and hanging in there believing that eventually I would be shown my Divine Life Purpose.
Today I live, breathe and apply the Law of Attraction in my own life – and today declare out loud my own passionate intention for Oprah to read and review my book You Can Break-Free Fast – and find it inspiring!

Law of Attraction: Fun with music and Fireworks
The Law of Attraction in action! Fireworks, great music, and a fun night with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra Proms, conductor Matthew Wood. My husband Nick and I enjoyed a picnic in the grounds of the former “holiday” home on the Isle of Wight of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Along with a few thousand fans of the Proms – many waving British flags to the music!
The finale as seen in this video was Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1 and husband and wife team Claire Rutter, soprano and Stephen Gadd, baritone, really gave us a rousing rendition of “Land of Hope and Glory” as the fireworks went off.

Break-Free with Laughter & Gratitude: Caryl on the Isle of Wight
Do you laugh enough? Well today I want to encourage you to break-free from being too serious, get into a garden or nature – and liberate your “inner child”. I am trained in Laughter Yoga and have found it a wonderful way to liberate your inner child and access your joy. A few years ago I discovered that I could break free from taking life so seriously and today I am “in the flow” and living the life I love as I teach others to do in my books and coaching.
A wise person once said: “A grateful heart is an unbreakable heart.”
Love, laughter and gratitude are the cornerstones of a joyous life.
I am at Godshill on the Isle of Wight with my playful friend and husband Nick, recording this video. It was a summer day – a bit windy – but nothing beats an English Country garden. The Isle of Wight, where I now live, is renowned for its bucolic countryside, rolling fields of barley, wheat and rapeseed. I love the winding country roads and quaint villages like Godshill.
So I want to share with you that I came from pain, being stuck with an inner child in turmoil. But I found a way to liberate my child and find freedom. Gratitude and Play – tune into them today and find YOUR way to break free!
