TUNE INTO YOUR DIVINE RIGHT PLAN

by Caryl Westmore on September 13, 2009

Success in life is not about striving for goals,

but aligning with and tuning into

your Divine Life Plan.

As I see it, if you have doubts, fears or dilemmas about a way forward in your life then here’s a fail-safe way to throw light on the subject. This will lead to clarity as an intuitive nudge that lights up the way forward.

I thought about this last night as I was listening to a close friend sharing his concerns and options with regard to work and life. In the past I would have tried to “give advice” and steer him in a particular direction or ease his inner conflict.

Life and my own experience going from what I call “mess to success” has taught me differently.

Everything I write and teach now starts by clearing the blocks to reconnecting with Source, Soul or Divine Life Plan or Purpose. I have proven for myself and others that once you get clean and clear – miracles follow. And I know that each of us has a unique soul journey of growth and happiness. As long as we feel good in our own skin and aligned with Source, then the challenges merely become a way of triggering what Abraham-Hicks calls “rockets of desire” to expand our life and bring our highest good.

Let me share with you a prayer or declaration which has been a compass in my own life when the way forward seemed dark and murky. It comes from 1940s metaphysical teacher and author Florence Scovel-Shinn from her classic book: “The Game of Life and How to Play it”.

“Infinite Spirit, open the way for the Divine Design of my life to manifest; let the genius within me be released; let me see clearly the perfect plan.”

You could also say this to Source, the Universe, your Higher Power – all names for something bigger than your personality or ego Self.

Once you “say the word” or make the declaration” follow up by giving thanks that it is “already so”. After that, simply expect and await a nudge or insight for the right action or next best action step. It can come from a chance remark, a passage you open randomly in a book or an intuitive flash.
The important thing says Shinn is to “speak the word and then don’t do anything until you get a definite lead”.

The result – you feel good, authentic

and in the flow or swing of

well being and happiness.

SELF-WORTH RULES OKAY?

by Caryl Westmore on September 6, 2009

Self image

Look in the mirror and what do you see? Tatty, smart, sexy?  How you see yourself INSIDE is how you will live your life – expectations, goals, joy. So much depends on what you feel and believe about yourself deep down – in your unconscious.

I love this Chinese proverb regarding self-worth:

“If you want one year of prosperity, grow seeds. If you want 10 years of prosperity, grow trees. if you want a lifetime of prosperity, grow your self-worth.”

The Break-Free Fast Formula which I write about and teach is a perfect “stuck buster” when you want to clear self-worth issues.  First you have to identify that your unconscious beliefs about YOU are holding you back, keeping you stuck way below your level of ability and heart-felt desires.

Remember Psycho-cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz?  As a plastic surgeon he discovered a “new face” did not necessarily raise self-esteem – rather there was a key mind-body connection that caused an inner attitude to rule, no matter what outer success was desired.  Maltz taught the power of self-affirmation and mental visualisation techniques to power up the internal belief system.

His methods, pioneered in the 1960s-70s were key in the self-help work of Brian Tracy, Zig Ziglar and Tony Robbins.

So what does this mean for YOU?

Success and happiness is an inside-job.  Do what you must do to keep feeding and growing your self-worth and the results will follow.

GETTING GOALS DONE WITH “OXYGEN-THINKING”

by Caryl Westmore on September 6, 2009

Apollo 13 Lift-offTry applying “oxygen-thinking” to your action list of dreams and goals and see results take off! It’s something John Assaraf recommends in his book Having it All. Once you have taken time to plan and laser focus in on your goals he says, act as if your oxygen supply was running out and you have no time to waste.

Assaraf refers to the Apollo 13 Astronauts running out of oxygen and realizing they had no time to waste. They only thought about getting back to earth, nothing else mattered, no time for discussion, whining, getting scared.” That’s exactly the way to act in business, says Assaraf: “oxygen-thinking, only.”

This reminds me of Stephen Covey’s “First Things First” directive in Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. It helps me to make a daily list of Top 5 Things To Do to keep me focused on achieving goals. At the end of a day a DONE LIST gives me a sense of accomplishment and encouragement because I have proof that I am indeed getting goals done.

This is particularly important if like me you are a solo-preneur, writer or creative. Great ideas need action and oxygen-thinking can make them happen.
